The Journey

Imagine…. Waking up one morning with a vision to make a difference in the
                  world

Imagine…. Reaching out to a friend who shared your vision of beginning a
journey of a lifetime…one that would change not only the lives of
both of you but also the lives of everyone you would meet.

Imagine...Making your vision a reality by taking the risk and doing what you do
best…riding horseback and following the trails of our ancestors…Living
                the Moment
.

Imagine…Dream…Do it…Live the Moment….Make a Difference!

“The Journey”
began with a ride by horseback that changed our lives on July 1, 2008 and ended on August 16th, 2008 with over 2000 miles traveled to make a difference here in
America.

The founders of Saddle Up For Good USA operates one of the best IPRA sanctioned rodeos and are working hard with anticipation of bringing their inspirational rodeo to the Crown Arena in Fayetteville, North Carolina on Saturday, April 3, 2010.

We are reaching out to you today to invite you to join the unveiling of history as Dr. Ray Charles Lockamy, Co-founder and President, returns home.  We are seeking all cowboys and cowgirls to ride with us in a Western Parade and be a part of history through the city of Fayetteville into the arena for the opening show.   The President of the United States has asked for ordinary citizens to become leaders in their communities.  As cowboys and cowgirls we accept the challenge and responsibility for effective change in our communities at large.  Registration fee is $40 which will allow entry into one show.  Saddle Up For Good USA is an educational experience designed to inspire youth, families and communities. Our shows feature male and female riders from diverse backgrounds.

Join us on Saturday, April 3, 2010 at 12:00 noon and 7:00 pm for the Saddle Up For Good USA rodeo competition which will feature some of the best professional riders in Bull Riding, Bulldogging, Calf Roping, Bronc Riding, Tie-Down Roping and Barrel Racing.

We are seeking sponsors to support us with this event and welcome all organizations, churches, civic groups, businesses to make contributions.  Please provide logo with your donation so that it will be included on all future advertisements.  We accept all donations.  Patrons with donations below the sponsor contributions will be highlighted in our souvenir booklet.  Proceeds support organizations that assist at-risk youths and domestic violence.
