“If you treat it like a movement, it will become one”

Saddle Up 4 Good was founded by urban cowboys living out their beliefs, while impacting the lives of others from the back of a horse. Through shows, demonstrations and fundraising journeys, Saddle Up brings a unique style of role models to teach and bridge gaps in youth principles, family values and individual self esteem.

Saddle Up started with a dream and our passion transpired from the spirit of our ancestors, to dedicate our lives to helping families. We ride to inspire folks to dream and believe by using history and the love of animals to attract children and families to our program.

Our historic journey began with the “Saddle Up 4 Good” Benefit Ride. The ride, completed by Dr. Lockamy and Mr. Morris entirely on horseback, started July 1, 2008 in Maine and ended in Florida on August 16, 2008. This journey was completed “on faith” and “goodwill” without the comfort of a trailer following us, sleeping from woods to barns, to raise money for:

• Victims of Domestic Violence
• At Risk Youths

Our spirit lives on through Saddle Up 4 Good. After our historic journey of over six weeks and close to 3,000 miles traveled, we continue our legacy in teaching youth and families about their rich heritage, thus building their self-esteem today. We also draw on our own incredible life experiences and leadership lessons to inspire everyone we meet.

"We dedicate our lives to the mission of helping families and inspiring everyone we meet to see themselves in their own image"

Saddle Up 4 Good, LLC and Saddle Up 4 Good, Inc. went through an organizational restructuring and name change officially in December 2009 and are now known nationally as Saddle Up For Good USA.

Saddle Up For Good USA is an ethnically-owned and sanctioned rodeo through the International Professional Rodeo Association (IPRA).  We offer very diverse shows that feature rodeo professionals from across the nation.  Our program offers a full rodeo which is very inspirational.  You won't see another show like it.  We showcase some of the best professional riders, great singing, line dancing, historical silhouettes and a variety of fun for the
entire family.  Our shows are represented by both male and female riders of all eligible ages.  In Dream Park, NJ we featured our first teen female bullrider "Nina Morris" (daughter of Mr. Morris) and one of the youngest male bullriders, "Booty Boot".

WHAT WE DO:

Through inspirational speaking engagements, rodeo shows, master horseman demonstrations and fundraising journeys, Saddle Up brings a unique style of role models to teach and bridge gaps in youth principles, family values and individual self esteem. We also choose to raise awareness for causes important to us, specifically targeting Domestic Violence and At-Risk Youths.  In addition, we utilize talk therapy with those experiencing crises within the populations of  juvenile justice, prison reform and men who have physically and mentally abused women
