Dr. Ray Charles Lockamy, President
Ray is the son of the late Mary Emma and John” Big Willie” Lockamy. Ray was born in Dunn, North Carolina. He comes from a diverse heritage that taught him the traditions of Native American tribal healing, from his late Cherokee grandfather, and his grandmother, who was Lumbee Native American from North Carolina. His vision and passion came from hard work, life experiences and memories as a sharecropper‘s son. Through hard work and life lessons, Ray serves as a role model for horsemen, youth and families. He is a minister of the gospel and is driven by faith.
Ray is the owner of Lockhaven Ranch in Sunderland, Maryland. The name “Lockhaven “was chosen to prepare a safe haven for youth and families when learning about horsemanship and life values.

Mr. Morris, Vice President

Rumor has it that Mr. Morris was born on the back of a horse and has been riding and living his dream to help others as far back as he can remember. Born in Baltimore, Maryland and raised on a farm in Fairfax County, Virginia, it was there that he developed his love for riding and his passion for horses. He continues to dedicate himself full time to the mission of Saddle Up For Good to keep the history of the Black cowboy and Black Buffalo soldiers alive in serving as a role model and speaker on lessons of true generosity, honesty, trust and belief….the American way of believing that anything is possible and that a negative environment can foster a positive individual when positive steps are taken. Mr. Morris works countless hours to raise money for youth scholarships and related charities. He is the founder and former President of the Rough Riders and East Coast Rough Riders horse clubs located in Prince George's County Maryland.
